The Black Stars of Ghana lost 3-0 to Brazil on Friday night at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre, France, marking their fifth loss of the season.

For Tite’s team to win, a brace from Ricarlison and one from Marquingos in the first half were sufficient.

Despite playing considerably better in the second half, Ghana nevertheless lost the game 3-0.

Here’s How The Players Performed

Jojo Wollacott – 4.5

Wollacott made six saves throughout the game despite giving up three goals. In the game’s final 45 minutes, he played considerably better.

Denis Odoi – 4

Odoi struggled most of the time as he came up against Vinicius Junior in the first half while trying to halt the Real Madrid star.

Daniel Amartey – 5

Amartey, who participated the entire time and was undoubtedly one of Ghana’s best players, played the entire game. In the game, he completed two interceptions and made five recoveries.

Alexander Djiku – 5

Despite having little control over the goals allowed, the centre defender managed to win all three of the challenges he attempted and make four clearances.

Baba Rahaman – 4

The Reding defender, who was selected ahead of Gideon Mensah in the starting lineup, had a respectable performance.

Baba Iddrisu – 4

Iddrisu, who occasionally played as the lone pivot, struggled defensively and had poor ball control against the Selecao.

Mohammed Kudus – 6

After a lacklustre first half, Kudus came out of the break with three opportunities produced, showing flashes of his potential. He made three successful tackles for the defence.

Andre Ayew – 4.5

The player who came closest to scoring was Andre, but his header from within the area hit the crossbar. Andre fared better in the second half, as did the majority of players.

Kamaldeen Sulemana – 4

Right winger Kamaldeen had trouble on the field and was replaced after only 45 minutes. During his time on the field, he received 27 touches of the ball.

Jordan Ayew – 4.5

Jordan played the entire game and occasionally entered the picture when Ghana carried the ball out of their own half. However, he was useful in providing defence support.

Felix Afena-Gyan – 3.5

The teenager struggled as the game’s lone striker due to his inexperience, rarely forcing Brazil’s defence to move. In his 45 minutes of play, he received just 13 touches.

SUBSTITUTES

Mohammed Salisu – 5.5

Salisu, who was playing for the Black Stars for the first time, adapted well and only made three errors in his 25 passes. In the second half, the Southampton star appeared at ease filling in as the third centre-back.

Inaki Williams – 5

Inaki Williams, who had been missing from the first half of the game, was given some excellent opportunities when he entered the game and kept making runs.

Tariq Lamptey – 4

He had just made his debut, and he appeared okay. He kept up with Rodrygo Goes after turning on quite well.

Elisha Owusu – 4

His introduction was required because Baba Iddrisu appeared unsteady in the game’s closing moments. He gave the midfield a little amount of steadiness.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh – N/A

He didn’t have much time to contribute to the game.
