Just minutes before he is accused of punching a sound engineer in the face, Travis Scott is facing criticism for another incident that occurred. This time, he is accused of throwing a fan’s phone, and a lawsuit may be on the way.

Travis may be seen performing a surprise DJ performance at Nebula in NYC in video that was obtained by TMZ. Travis appears to be annoyed that a man is filming him while he spins on his cell phone

At that moment, the footage is hazy, but the owner of the phone claims Travis threw the phone, hitting him in the head and shattering his screen.

The individual claimed that Nebula representatives offered his table a complimentary bottle of alcohol for their trouble, but he declined the offer. He asserts, however, that he has retained counsel and intends to file both a police report and a civil action.

According to TMZ, police were summoned to Nebula at around 3 AM on Wednesday after the rapper allegedly assaulted a sound engineer in the face there before allegedly destroying $12k in video and speaker equipment.The sound engineer claimed to have neck injuries in a hospital interview with Fox 5 News on Thursday

The NYPD has identified Travis as a suspect in a probe into an assault and criminal mischief. Mitchell Schuster, his attorney, informs us of the sound engineer’s accusations, “While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
