According to reports, Justin Bieber is about to finalize a deal to fetch $200 million for the rights to all of his music.
The sale of the pop icon to Hipgnosis Songs Capital, which just paid Justin half as much for his collection, is about to be finalized, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The greatest purchase in music history would occur if it were to go through. It will feature all six of the singer’s studio albums, numerous singles, and even group projects.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber recently made news after he claimed that high street retailer H+M was selling a goods line without his consent.
On Monday, 19.12.22, the 28-year-old musician took to social media to criticize the fast-fashion clothes brand since, according to him, their newest range was based on him.
He stated: “I DIDN’T APPROVE ANY OF THE MERCH COLLECTION THAT THEY PUT UP AT H+M. All without my permission and approval SMH I WOULDN’T BUY IT IF I WERE YOU.”
The singer of “Baby,” who has been married to fashion model Hailey Bieber since 2018, called the collection “crap” in a subsequent post and urged his followers to stay away.
“The H+M MERCH THEY MADE OF ME IS TRASH AND I DIDN’T APPROVE IT DONT BUY IT. When everyone finds out I didn’t approve any of this merch smh.”(sic), he added.
Following the outburst, a representative for the clothing retailer claimed that correct procedures had been followed before the line was introduced, but hours after Bieber made the claims, it seemed that all merchandise from the line had been taken down from the website, save for a $15 tote bag bearing his face.
In a statement, the representative said, “As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H M followed proper approval procedures.”
In the meantime, the singer recently introduced an official water brand at the Qatar World Cup. In an effort to “protect the people,” the singer partnered with premium alkaline water provider Geneoristy to provide refreshments to those attending the games in the Middle Eastern nation via refillable fountains.
“I want the world to have access to the best water. I also want countries to know how to best protect their people. The overuse of plastic is hurting us, we need to be more sustainable”, he stated.
