Tyrone smiled after I hesitated to reply. That seemed like a cocky smile. I wondered what was running through his head.

He signalled the waiter to leave while he chose to serve the starters. He was smiling throughout and trying to understand my sullen face as he started intently from time to time. I really wanted to talk about the outside scene but the little Vee in my head kept telling me not to spoil such an ambience.

His movements were perfect, syncing well with his aura. This made questions pop up in my head. Was he a player who takes many ladies to dates and has therefore mastered the art of gentility in every aspect of life?

Was he really who he looks to be?

The questions began to pour down to my heart overflowing it with distress and fear. Goosebumps showered my arms and hairs on my leg rose in accordance, reminding me each passing second not to be as relaxed as I am till I find answers.

Why was I even thinking of these? The last person to judge a person should be me. I reminded myself firmly and flushed those thoughts away. I was supposed to enjoy the path I chose. You only live once they say.

On the plate were different starters, crispy sweet potatoes, bread rolls and a little mixture for salad with a few others here and there that looked like someone’s hard work was worth it. I licked my lips without reservation and looked up at him to get the cue to start digging in. He nodded with an amused look and I went to work. I savoured a bit of everything like nobody’s business.

Tyrone was a picky eater I guess. He only took a bread roll and complimented it with red wine. He spent the rest of the night eating me with his eyes.

“i think I am okay”, I announced after making sure I had tried everything on and out of the plate. The main meal was not needed.

“Of course you are”, he giggled.

Standing up, he gracefully walked to my side and leaned closer. Closer to my face with a few inches away from my lips. My heart raced.

Was this going to be our first real kiss? Did my mouth smell of onions from the salad? I could feel my heart thump faster when his breath landed graciously on my face.

Then, my nose twitched. This was not supposed to be a part of the plan, I chided my nose inwardly, but that made it twitch more in an attempt to let out a sneeze.

He saw the sudden change in countenance and chuckled. Stretching out his hands, he grabbed a tissue from the table and cleaned my cleavage. Some crumbs had found their way between my two tender temples.

I was pissed. The sneeze disappeared.

Was that all he came to do? I fumed. Making me go crazy and aroused within a millisecond to clean something off me?

I was not taking that, I had to quench that fire burning between my thighs.
