An adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Russia launched more than 120 missiles on Thursday in a new round of attacks against Ukraine.

According to Kyiv’s mayor, at least three people were hurt in the strikes on the Ukrainian capital, which also damaged homes and an industrial site and warned of water and power outages.

The main city of Kharkiv and the northeastern Kharkiv area of Ukraine are “under attack by enemy rockets,” the region’s military chief wrote in a Telegram message on Thursday.

Oleh Syniehubov, the chief of the Kharkiv regional military administration, reported that four missiles, most likely S300s, had struck the city.

Injuries from Attacks

At least three people were injured in Kyiv Thursday, including a 14-year-old child, after Russia fired missiles at the capital, Mayor Vitalii Klitschko said.

Two people were rescued from the debris of a damaged home, Klitschko said in an update on Telegram.

According to the Kyiv city military administration, residences, an industrial facility, and a playground were all damaged during Russia’s strike on Ukraine’s capital on Thursday.

Authorities are currently maintaining air defenses, and the government stated that they were attempting to clarify information regarding casualties.
