Goalkeeper Andre Onana has been sent home from Cameroon’s World Cup squad after he reportedly had a blazing row with manager Rigobert Song.

The Inter Milan star’s removal is believed to have come after a shouting match with Song over the keeper’s style of play.

He has been replaced by Devis Epassy, who plays his club football for Abha in Saudi Arabia and has made just five international appearances, with the decision coming just hours before Cameroon’s crucial World Cup clash with Serbia in Group G.

The game is a vital one in Cameroon’s tournament, as a loss would leave them needing Switzerland to beat Brazil to have any chance of reaching the knockout stage.

Onana’s dismissal is believed to have come after an argument with manager Rigobert Song over the team’s tactics.

According to reports from Helena Condis Edo, Onana sees his relationship with the team as ‘irreversible’ despite attempts from Cameroon Football Federation president, and legendary striker, Samuel Eto’o to mediate peace talks.

Marca claim the argument came after Song shouted at the keeper during training for taking too many risks playing with his feet.

The coach wanted him to play in a more conventional fashion and was unhappy with the way the keeper advanced off his line.

It was decided soon after that Onana should leave the squad, and will not return during the tournament.

Song and Onana are believed to have spoken after the tumultuous training session, and the keeper refused to change his style of play.

Onana’s dismissal means he will miss out on a reunion with his former Ajax teammate Dusan Tadic, who could be a key player in the game as he looks to feed Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Cameroon keeper played with Tadic in Holland for four years before leaving for Inter Milan over the summer, where he has struggled to secure regular football.

Cameroon currently are currently trailing 2-1 in the vital Group G clash, and look as though they are on course for an early exit.

Their last group match will be a tricky encounter against Brazil on Friday.

  1. Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

  2. Thank you for this article. I’d personally also like to mention that it can end up being hard while you are in school and merely starting out to initiate a long credit history. There are many scholars who are simply just trying to survive and have long or good credit history can sometimes be a difficult matter to have.

  3. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?

  4. I just could not depart your web site prior to suggesting that I really enjoyed the standard information a person provide for your visitors? Is going to be back often to check up on new posts

  5. Thanks for your posting. Another item is that just being a photographer involves not only trouble in capturing award-winning photographs but hardships in establishing the best photographic camera suited to your requirements and most especially challenges in maintaining the grade of your camera. It is very true and clear for those photography enthusiasts that are directly into capturing the nature’s eye-catching scenes — the mountains, the particular forests, the particular wild or even the seas. Going to these amazing places definitely requires a camera that can meet the wild’s hard environments.

  6. Generally I do not learn article on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very compelled me to try and do so! Your writing taste has been amazed me. Thank you, very nice post.

  7. I believe that a foreclosure can have a significant effect on the borrower’s life. Mortgage foreclosures can have a 6 to ten years negative influence on a client’s credit report. The borrower who has applied for home financing or any kind of loans even, knows that your worse credit rating will be, the more hard it is to get a decent financial loan. In addition, it could affect a borrower’s capacity to find a reasonable place to let or hire, if that becomes the alternative homes solution. Thanks for your blog post.
