Afia Schwarzenegger, a popular socialite and comedian, recently stated that she had given her adopted six-year-old daughter Nhyira back to her parents.
If readers will recall, earlier this year in May, Afia Schwarzenegger disclosed that she had adopted a new child as her daughter. She called her Agude3 Nhyira.
Social media users were outraged by the actress’ statement and demanded that the child be taken away from her because of her questionable lifestyle and public alcohol addiction, which they claimed would harm Nhyira’s development and character.
There were rumours that she was being sought out by the orphanage where Afia Schwarzenegger adopted her kid.
The comedienne has announced that she has given Nhyira back to her parents as of September 2022.
She claimed that Agude3 Nhyira was a needy child who she knew from church and had intended to assist, but she has had to forgo that plan due to the behaviour of some internet users.
“I didn’t and I don’t know anything here at all. I saw a very poor innocent child in my church and I just wanted to help. Nhyira has got a very sad story and I wanted for help, but that dream has been cut short”, She explained in a post.
The actress wished Ghanaians had been more thoughtful and rational in their remarks so that she could have cared for Nhyira appropriately.
