We often get caught in the “forever young” and “refuse to grow” fever to such a considerable extent that we pay particular attention to whatever we apply to our faces. We often pay so much attention to what we apply to our faces while forgetting that our lifestyle habits, such as what we eat, drink, how we sleep, and so on, need to be focused on too.
Ageing is a natural thing that happens to every living thing but some habits tend to age people faster than normal. On some occasions, it is due to a natural factor: GENES. Some genetic conditions such as Progeria can also be blamed for some people’s premature ageing. Such cases are often rare though. This article reviews the various lifestyle habits that can get you all wrinkled up even before you hit forty.
Lack of Sleep
Depriving the body of necessary sleeping hours can gradually change your youthful look and energy. Once you miss those hours of sleep, it keeps increasing the lines on your face making you appear tired and old all the time. A study conducted by UCLA researchers shows that sleep deprivation for just a night is enough to make older adults’ cells age quicker.
Excessive Alcohol Intake
Excessive intake of alcohol does not only damage the internal organs but makes one age quicker too. With time, it dehydrates the body and causes the skin to lose moisture and elasticity, leaving you all dry and saggy.
Too much Caffeine
Caffeine works just like alcohol. When you consume caffeine in large amounts and on a regular basis, it saps the moisture out of the body and makes your body look dull and saggy.
Heavy Smoking
This habit can be addictive. Smokers damage their teeth, develop lines around the mouth and forehead and develop wrinkles faster than non-smokers. This happens as a result of insufficient oxygen.
Very educative. Particularly the gene factor.
Helpful. Thank you

It’s an interesting link between lack of sleep and caffeine.
