July, 2022 marked the 30th wedding anniversary of former President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama. The duo had first met at the Ghana Secondary School in Tamale, where Mr. Mahama was having his national service and Lordina was a student.

After thirty years of marriage, they flaunt beautiful pictures on social media and one can easily tell what beautiful love the two share. If you are an admirer of wonderful marriages, you will easily identify theirs as one. The friendship that the couple share is lovely to see.

You will typically see them in pictures holding hands or talking to each other, even in public gatherings. Their marriage is worth emulating, one that many young people can draw inspiration from.

Friends That Talk To Each Other Stay Together

Marry your friend they say. Someone who you can share your thoughts, your secrets, your fears, your aspirations and all your life’s moments with. A friend who will listen to you and will always want to hear from you. I wonder what the former First lady was sharing with her husband. Do you notice how attentively he was listening to her?

Love Everywhere

Tell your spouse or significant other how much you love them. Don’t only tell them, also show them. Shower them with kisses, notice the smile on Madam Lordina’s face? Yeah …….. that’s how we do it.

Happiness Lives Here

Such a complete pair they are. Your spouse should be your happy place, you should long to be in none other’s arms than his/hers. They must bring you peace, joy and happiness. It takes years of patience, love, sacrifice and compromise to nurture a love as beautiful as this. Forgive me if I am drooling over this couple, I love LOVE, lol.
