Sex can be made interesting when both of you are communicating about everything and nothing in particular while ‘doing the do’. But sometimes, it’s better to just keep quiet and enjoy the whole show with your partner, especially when you don’t know what to say or how to start a convo. Mind you, it takes just a word to mess up the whole mood.

These are a few things men despise hearing during those intimate moments; from disappointing statements to making strange requests, here are some things men don’t like to hear during sex.

Where is this Relationship Going?

Columbia, perhaps. When you and your partner are having that sweet time together and you decide to pop this question right in his face, it is a complete turn-off. Sex can be a few minutes of many things. From forgetting the many problems we have, to living the moment because of the pleasure it brings to us. This is not the time to meditate on your life. Just hush and live the moment while it lasts.

Why are You so Touchy?

When your partner is showing signs of being in the mood or maybe he initiates the lovemaking, asking him why he’s behaving the way he is just like telling him you are not in the mood or you do not like what he’s doing. Try to understand his body language and know how to meet him halfway. Then, a lovely moment will be penned down in your romance books.

Do You Love Me?

Amazing! Seriously, of all days, times and places, you couldn’t have picked a better moment to ask that question? We understand that sometimes, your emotions can get in the way and make you feel overwhelmed with whatever is happening. Women tend to overthink often so that is normal. However, kindly reserve that question for later.

Comparing Your Ex to Your Current

Maybe he is performing better than your ex or underperforming. Just don’t talk about your ex. Talking about your ex simply informs him that you are recalling moments of pleasure with your previous partner while being intimate with your current partner. This completely kills the vibe. After the sex, when everything is all calm and quiet, you can raise or pinpoint what went wrong and what you loved about the sex.

For the sake of everything good under this sun, ladies, avoid putting men off with such questions and comments that cause them to pause and have a two-minute reflection on their life during sex. It is really annoying.
