For the second time, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez exchanged “I do”s.

The couple held a grander party at the actor’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia after getting married legally on July 17 in Las Vegas. It’s the location of the wedding that J. Lo and Affleck were meant to have 20 years ago.

J. Lo, 53, attended the ceremony officiated by authors and lifestyle coach Jay Shetty, wearing a Ralph Lauren gown with a train and veil. Affleck, 50, chose to wear a white tuxedo jacket and black pants.

Their kids – the actor and ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s three children Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10; and J. Lo and ex-husband Marc Anthony’s twins, Max and Emme, 14, all took part in the ceremony, which lasted 20 minutes.

Guests who followed the all-white requirement included Matt Damon, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes from the movie, Clerks.

‘At the end of the ceremony, they posed for family photos on the dock by the water’ an insider commented. ‘It was very romantic and classic. They had an old-fashioned car parked in fron of the estate ready to take them away. J. Lo was ecstatic and there were lots of tears of joy and laughter. Her smile said it all’

A visit to the hospital put a dramatic start to the weekend. According to reports, Affleck’s mother cut her leg after falling off a dock. She was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for sutures. Before the festivities started, Lopez and Affleck were seen visiting her.

Their huge party will take place in a special place. The house, which sits on 35 hectares of property, was bought by Affleck in 2003, the year that he started dating Lopez. The pair delayed their wedding, which was scheduled to take place in Santa Barbara, California, after being engaged because of “increased media attention.” They apparently intended to get married at the George estate at a later date, but they broke up in 2004.

According to a source who spoke to Entertainment Tonight, “Ben has always liked the country, outdoors, and being near the sea. For him, Georgia has always been a special and tranquil place. There, he has always felt comfortable. When he first started dating Jen, he bought a house near Riceboro, and he enjoyed how quiet and private it was. The residence was renovated by Ben and Jen to suit their tastes. There is no doubt that Ben and Jen adore the place.”

However, the famous couple couldn’t hold off until August to get hitched.

Last month at A Little White Wedding Chapel, Affleck and Lopez exchanged vows in a secret ceremony. To the couple’s dismay, there was no Elvis lookalike, but two of their children were present for their special evening. The dress Lopez wore was from an old movie.

“So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives. They even had Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle. But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last,” the singer shared in her On the J.Lo newsletter.

“When love is real, the only thing that matters in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving and good to one another. We had that. And so much more. Best night of our lives,” Lopez concluded.
