Organized Labour has announced its intention to initiate a nationwide strike starting from July 10th in response to the dismissal of three employees at Sunon Asogli Power who sought to establish a labour union within the company.

The terminated individuals at Asogli reportedly took the initiative to establish a union; however, they were subsequently fired due to a dispute with the company’s management.

In light of these events, Organized Labour is demanding the reinstatement of the dismissed workers and has issued a warning of a nationwide strike set to commence on July 10, 2023.

Further updates on this matter will be provided.
