Philip Dogbeda Lutterodt, the father of the late James Lutterodt, refuted claims that a viral video showed his son vomiting blood before his untimely death.

Speaking in a solemn tone, Mr. Lutterodt clarified that James struggled with difficulty breathing, not vomiting blood as rumoured. He recounted noticing issues when James visited in April, prompting efforts to address his health.

But despite their efforts, James passed away Monday morning, leaving his father and family in deep sorrow.

The Anguish of a Father

Mr. Lutterodt’s words convey the anguish of a father unable to save his son, despite trying. The misinformation about vomiting blood only compounds the tragedy, revealing the callous speed of false rumours even in times of grief.

“As a father, it hasn’t been easy. I noticed something was wrong with him when he came on vacation in April [2023]. I promptly started attending to his health concerns, and we conducted numerous tests to determine the cause of his illness until he passed away yesterday morning.”

Citinewsroom.com quotes Mr Lutterodt as saying

James’ sudden passing at a young age, with so much promise, tugs at the heartstrings. His contributions to Ketasco’s success and studies at the University of Ghana seem cut tragically short.

His loved ones must grapple with the emptiness left by his absence, remembering him in the only way now possible: through cherished memories that cannot ease the ache of loss. James’ story highlights the fragility of life and the preciousness of every moment with our loved ones.
