Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall musician who may have the largest fan base in Ghana, recently discussed the origins of his conflict with Burna Boy in an interview with seasoned entertainment host Sammy Flex on Class TV.

The head of SM claimed that Burna Boy got into a fight with him after hearing some of the members who quit his squad and started disparaging him.

Despite that, he stated that he admires Burna Boy’s drive and is happy to see how his brand has grown since their 2017 collaboration on the song Hossana. Their long-running argument recently intensified.

Burna Boy will always hold a special place in his heart as his “Gee,” despite the tension that currently exists between the two of them.

Shatta Wale on Wizkid’s No-Show

Shatta Wale has also expressed his opinions over Wizkid’s infamous no-show during his Accra concert in Ghana.

The highly anticipated Wizkid Live Concert in Accra practically went up in smoke as attendees stood in line for hours hoping to see the headliner from Nigeria and get their money’s worth, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Some attendees and bloggers who attended the event claimed that when local artists such Yaw Tog took the stage to perform, the DJ and MC were left to keep the crowd entertained for more than two hours.

Wizkid and the other headliners did not show up to the concert despite the extended wait. According to numerous web publications, many ticket buyers are asking the performer to return their money to them.

Shatta Wale offered his opinion on the topic as it continues to trend on social media and elicit a range of responses.

The SM CEO claimed that Wizkid wasn’t really at fault for what happened because God’s will prevented the stadium from being filled to capacity.
