On February 6, 2018, Prince Charles wanted to give Mr. Ratan Tata the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for philanthropy at Buckingham Palace. Everything was set and well organized. A day before the event, the secretary gets a call from Mr. Tata saying that his dogs – Tito and Tango are terribly ill and he would not be able to leave them alone. So he can’t attend the function.
The secretary said, “Mr. Tata, this is a prestigious award, and is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” Ratan Tata replied, “Maybe.”
The secretary reported the entire event to Prince Charles and to his surprise Prince Charles was awestruck. He said, “That’s the man. That’s the man Ratan Tata is. That’s what had kept the house of TATA in order”
