Mahama has been receiving a warm welcome at every stop on his campaign trail, with venues filled to capacity with party supporters and non-executives. The executives have been reminded that the party expects nothing less than an emphatic endorsement for Mahama.
The delegates have praised Mahama’s experience and track record, with one delegate from the Jaman North Constituency saying, “Our party does not have space for a failed experiment. John Mahama is not only experienced, but he has also been tested and tried. We know him and his works.”
Mahama has been calling for hard work, greater commitment, and unity among the executives at all levels, insisting that campaign and party materials and logistics must be deployed to the branches where they are needed. He has pledged to work hard with party supporters across the country to win the presidency and the majority of seats in parliament.
Despite the overwhelming support from the rank and file of the NDC, Mahama has decided to visit all constituencies to campaign and interact with the party’s structures. He has so far visited the Volta, Bono East, Bono, and Ahafo Regions.
