Yvonne Nelson is upset and tired of what she terms the indescribable suffering brought on by the Nana Addo-led NPP administration.

The Ghanaian actress has shared a number of posts online in which she expresses her anger and disappointment with President Nana Addo. The campaign promises made by the current president to the Ghanaian people, in the opinion of Yvonne Nelson, were nothing more than lies.

Your campaign promises …… all ANANSESEM @NAkufoAddo,” she tweeted and added that “We are fedUP with this hardship….very obvious this government has gotten all it wanted and is ignoring the people (Ghanaians) @NAkufoAddo“.

Tweeting at President Akufo-Addo, the actress maintained that the public will not sit aloof while the president and his government take the country for granted.

“Deceiving us? My generation? We won’t sit and watch you guys play with our future and that of our kids. Ghanaians deserve better”, one of her tweets read.

“One thing about this government..they don’t care..but they care about the power and prestige that comes with it. We will start making y’all care”, another read.

We are SITTING on GOLD, but we are suffering in @NAkufoAddo ‘s voice.,” she said.
The actress came down even lower on the President, reminding him of what he had said when he ran for office in 2016.

A few days ago, the vociferous actress lamented over the skyrocketing price of gas and fuel when she disclosed that “I bought gas yesterday for 210ghc, this is where we are #poorleadership”.

One of the renowned Ghanaians who opposed former President John Dramani Mahama during her notorious “Dumsor Must Stop” event that attracted notice throughout Africa was Yvonne Nelson.

The campaign increased pressure on the previous NDC administration to resolve the nation’s electricity crisis.

Moving forward, Yvonne Nelson commended John Mahama with resolving the power outages in November 2020.

I understand you’re stupid…. My dumsor campaign was for Ghanaians to get their lights back on, which President Mahama fixed and nothing else, let someone smart clarify to you,” she told a fan who accused her of campaigning for Nana Addo.

  1. My dear lady, do you listen to international news nowadays? The whole world is suffering not Ghana alone. The reason is we depend to much on foreign aid, that’s why we have been hit hard from this global economic Crisis.

  2. Our leaders will blame past governments,Covid-19 and Russia-Ukranie war rather than fixing the country and economy.
