At the beginning of most romantic relationships, couples exhibit so much interest in each other through frequent calls, putting smiles on the other partner’s faces, and meeting up at the least chance they get. It’s like two unlike magnetic poles.

When talking about matters of the heart, we tend to draw a line between men and women and how each one handles certain issues.  Have you ever been in a relationship where your supposedly significant other suddenly or gradually goes off? Or do you realize at a point that your man’s gradually fading away? These could be why.

Loaded with Responsibilities

A man might lose interest in a relationship when he’s surrounded by loads of responsibilities. He might be in distress and the relationship is the last thing on his mind. Men go through a lot of things and are tempted to stay silent since they are always expected to man up.

Rushing Plans

It’s good to anticipate and plan ahead. We understand that ladies love to plan weddings. But rushing him into the next level of the relationship can scare him away. It makes him feel you’re too desperate and hence, he will prefer not to be in the relationship at all.

Inconsistency

Once your man notices that you are inconsistent in your actions or speech, he will become suspicious and curious of every move of yours to the point where his trust for you becomes questionable. In such cases, it’s easy for him to lose interest in the relationship and you.

Infidelity

A cheating partner is a turn-off and men feel the same too. Especially when it keeps recurring. Men are selfish when it comes to those they love, therefore when they feel or realize what they call their own is being shared among others, they start to lose interest.

Vast Differences

Differences in opinions and behaviour sometimes end up in arguments and arguments leave couples unhappy for a while. Maybe you disagree with everything he says because you are of a different view and because of that he feels you’re not the right one for him.

Unbalanced Efforts

We are not saying there’s a scale that measures efforts in relationships, no. But for a relationship to work, obviously, both partners are to make conscious efforts toward its progress. What happens when he puts in more effort than you do and all you do is stay indifferent? Surely, there’s a high chance that he eventually gets fed up and loses interest in the relationship.

A Third Wheel’s Attention

Oftentimes, this conclusion is drawn immediately after the man begins showing signs. It’s always advisable to communicate with your partner and know what he likes and dislikes because there is a possibility that your man might lose interest in his current relationship when he is getting the kind of attention he wants from a different lady than from you.
