Mostly combined with stews and soups, it brings out a sweet and satisfying aroma, which leaves one craving more.

Chicken tastes great too when taken solo but how about trying out a new recipe: The Chicken Curry. This article provides you with the detailed step-by-step procedure you will use to whip up a new chicken flavour for your dishes.

Ingredients

Cooking Oil.

3 Onions (chopped).

Ground Ginger and Garlic.

4 Fresh Tomatoes (Chopped).

3 tablespoons of Curry Powder.

2-3 Pounds of Chicken Breast.

Black Pepper.

Salt.

Complete Seasoning.

3 Cups of Water.

1 Can of Coconut Milk Shredded Dandelions (optional).

Method

Fill your cooking pan with 3-4 spoons of cooking oil under moderate heat.

Add your chopped onions, ground ginger and garlic and stir till golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes and stir till it softens.

The curry powder goes in next. Stir and cook for about two minutes then add the chicken breasts.

Sprinkle a considerable amount of black pepper and salt to taste then stir until the chicken turns brownish.

Cover for 3-4 minutes.

Add water and cook for an additional 10 minutes

After 10 minutes, add your coconut milk and salt for a favourable taste and continue to cook till it’s thickened.

Spice it up with your shredded dandelion and any shredded leafy greens of your choice.

Serve with the desired dish. (Rice, yam etc.)
