In an interview with Zionfelix monitored by Ghanaweb, Liha Miller, German and wife of Ghanaian musician Patapaa stated that she came under scrutiny from the very moment Patapaa posted a photo of them together on social media which led to name-calling and body-shaming by people.

The matter was aggravated when she was bombarded with insults and sexual allegations by some people who barely knew her. She disclosed that it had not been rosy being the partner of the Ghanaian musician at the initial stage of their relationship.

“In the beginning, it was very difficult because I’m white so people were thinking Patapaa is after my money or he wants to get papers through me. Some said I’m chubby, I’m not slim. In the beginning, it was really hard”, Liha recalled.

She further added, “I remember I saw some comments on the Patapaa picture that he posed with me on his birthday and people were talking about me and about my family. Somehow, it has pained me. I am new to this.”

To rub salt in the wound, she was arraigned for sexual allegations that in turn, made the situation worse, she revealed in the interview. According to her, it was around the same period Patapaa had brought her out to light as his girlfriend and having been insulted by a section of the public for no apparent reason, the last thing she expected was allegations of sexual misconduct.

“There was news going around that I have slept with Stonebwoy, Bisa Kdei, Patoranking and others which were not true. It was very hard. People were judging me without knowing me. I couldn’t even introduce myself to them. Patapaa had said ‘This is my girlfriend’ and everyone started talking. But after that, when people started to know me, they began to love me. But it took some time,” Liha stated.

Liha is quite appreciative of Ghanaians for accepting her and is very happy working as a nurse in Germany. She expressed that she loves Ghana because it is a beautiful place.
