An Accra Circuit court has remanded former Light Heavyweight champion Braimah Kamoko, also known as Bukom Banku, for allegedly attacking a man.

According to the prosecutor, on November 25, 2022, at 5:30 pm, the boxer and a few of his pals wreaked havoc and attacked others in Bukom.

Ishmael Neequaye, the complainant and a neighbour, admitted that the nearby noise had awakened him. He admitted he made an effort to settle things down.

According to reports, the police attempted to arrest Bukom Banku and his son on multiple times, but in vain. The two were apprehended, nonetheless, after receiving a summons for a criminal offence.

The two entered a not-guilty plea, but Justice Adelaide Abui Keddey, the presiding judge, refused to grant them bail.

The boxer and his son will appear in court again on Monday, December 19. Prosper Quaye, 32, the third accuser, is currently at large.
