Popular gospel performer Luigi Maclean has advised the general public, especially Christians, to never lose up on God or feel hopeless. He urged followers to maintain their faith in the face of adversity rather than wailing in agony over Ghana’s ongoing economic woes.
The call was made by the well-known and influential voice in Ghana’s gospel on Saturday, November 19, while appearing on Onua TV during the Hollard Splendor Concert 2022 in Accra.
He argued that through being faithful in trying times, we can find serenity in God’s presence. Growing in the Lord costs us by hardening our hearts with pride.
The worldwide economic crisis was quickly added by Maclean, who also holds the opinion that God would not desert those who fervently seek his face in prayer.
“Ghana is not isolated in the economic crisis. It is everywhere. Even in the Bible, famine came upon the land, yet God saved his people.
“So my position is that let’s not give up easily but hold on unto the Lord, and he will surely protect us,” he reassured.
He assured the public that he will be hosting a significant gospel performance this holiday season and told his supporters to keep an eye out for his new album in early 2023.
Great musicians such as Minister Kofi Peprah, Rev. John Asubonteng, MOG Music, Minister Alexandra Aboagye, Puleng March from South Africa, and the host, Minister Siisi Baidoo performed at the gospel event, which was organized by Crafted Nation.
