The Tesla CEO fathered twins with one of his top executives, Shivon Zilis, weeks before he and Grimes had their child through surrogacy in December 2021. Project director Zilis, 36, works at Neuralink.
Court records, according to Business Insider (paywalled) through Yahoo news, show that Musk and Zilis requested that the twins take their biological mother’s last name as their middle name and their biological father’s last name as their last name. In May 2022, the court granted their request.
According to her LinkedIn page, Shivon Zilis started working with Nueralink in May 2017. She holds degrees in philosophy and economics from Yale. Zilis is a member of LinkedIn’s 35 Under 35 and Forbes’ 30 Under 30 lists.
Grimes had admitted before their breakup that the millionaire boy desired more children (they already share two). The pair parted ways on that day. Elon Musk has twins and triplets with his first wife Justine. Ten weeks after the couple’s son was born, one of them perished away.
